Join us on the northern edge of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park on Thursday August 14 for a traditional agricultural show with a wide range of prize winning animals, delicious local food & drink, plenty of shopping, displays, children’s entertainment and much more.
Gates open at 9am – come early to make the most of the day! Well-behaved dogs on leads are very welcome, so feel free to bring your four-legged friends along. Free car parking is available on-site, making your visit easy and stress-free. A free shuttle bus will be running regularly from both Okehampton Station and the town centre, so you can leave the car at home if you prefer.

This year’s show offers a fantastic range of competitions for exhibitors of all kinds.
In the equine section, there are over 60 classes to take part in, including heavy horses, carriage driving, unaffiliated show jumping, and elegant side saddle displays – something for every horse lover.
Our livestock classes are always a highlight, featuring a full schedule for cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs – showcasing the very best of local farming and animal husbandry.
Beyond the barns and arenas, there’s plenty more to see and do. Competitions for poultry, rabbits, and bees attract keen exhibitors, while the open and handicraft sections celebrate creativity and traditional skills.
Young Farmers will be out in force with their usual mix of talent and enthusiasm, and fans of classic machinery won’t want to miss the impressive display of vintage vehicles.
Whether you're entering a class or coming to admire the talent on show, there's something for everyone!
