Yelverton Golf Club was established in 1904 with a design upgrade by Herbert Fowler in 1923. It was then further updated by James Braid between 1931-34 to the course that is recognised today. The moorland landscape provides the most natural of challenges for golfers of all abilities with leats, gorse and ponies adding to quite the spectacular views across Dartmoor.

While Yelverton Golf Club has over 600 playing members there is also a thriving social membership who enjoy all the catering facilities as well and the outstanding views towards Cornwall from the terrace area. Whilst the golf club continues to grow its membership the clubhouse, bar and restaurant are open to non-members throughout the year. There is always a warm welcome for guests and visitors to enjoy our food menus that vary week to week with seasonal specials and chef special platters. Non-members are also welcome to book the facilities for private functions and Yelverton Golf Club has catered for christenings, weddings, birthdays, seasonal parties and end of life celebrations.

We welcome golf visitors and societies throughout the year and tailor-made packages for catering and golf are available.
