A YOUTH café for special needs youngsters in Tavistock is going from strength to strength with over 30 children and carers attending at one time. The group, which has now been running for six sessions, is an extension of the Tavistock Youth Café in Pixon Lane and has been supported by local businesses, including Orchard Windows who have sponsored T-shirts. The intention is to make the Tavistock Youth Café Plus a charity, and offer day trips and sports activities such as football training and swimming. Proceeds from next year's Son-Rise Cup for Autism on April 27 at Tavistock AFC Ground will be given to the youth café plus.
