I WOULD like to thank all my friends, all my relatives and all the strangers whose kind words and thoughts have made a difficult time a lot easier. I would like to give a huge thanks to all the paramedics and the air ambulance crew for all doing their jobs so well at such an important time for me. Also a thanks to all the strangers and police there at the accident who helped to sort out the cars and looked after my beloved dog. Special thanks go to the kind lady who spoke to me and kept me awake and to Sam, whom I?d never met before, but held my hand, talked to me and made me realise how important it was for me not to give up. Also a huge thanks to all the hospital staff who travelled such a long emotional journey with me and looked after me along the way. Thanks to all my friends who came to visit me, you?re all very special and made these long days bearable. I would like to thank my parents who were there for me all day every day and still are. I want to thank my brother, who saved me, he?s my hero and without him I wouldn?t be able to thank you all now. Finally, I need to thank my best friend Meg who came to see me every day in hospital and has helped me get through every up and down, and continues to now. Also thanks to everyone who is trying to help me by raising funds for my future, I?ve have been through a lot but the next bit is going to be just as hard and you?re all helping me in that a great deal. Thanks again to everyone and apologies to everyone I have no doubt forgotten! You may be forgotten on paper but you are not in my mind or my heart. Nicola Bitton WE would like to say a special thank you to two people who played a big part in keeping our children focussed since their accident, Meg Ward and Amy Petts. Meg visited Nikki every day in hospital and picked up her spirit every time she was at her lowest and Amy, who gave up so much of her time to be with Paul when we couldn?t be and who kept him sane with her love and encouragement. Both girls have been really brilliant and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for everything they?ve done. Also a big thank you to our children?s friends and our friends and neighbours and everyone who has and is still supporting us in many various ways, it is and will always be very much appreciated. Chris and Barbara Bitton
