MAY I through the letters page, once again thank the people of Okehampton and the surrounding area who gave so generously last Saturday morning for Save the Children Fund. We raised £242.33.
Many thanks too, to all the collectors who braved rain, sun, wind and hail! So much for a warm, sunny May morning!
Your support really does make a difference to the lives of millions of children and their families in this country and around the world.
The Okehampton branch, for the year ended March 31, 2000, raised a total of £2997.95 for the fund.
Our next coffee morning is to be held at Fairplace Church, Okehampton on Saturday July 8. Hope to see you there. Many many thanks once again.
