THE Santa Rosa Fund (a locally based charity which supports educational initiatives in Nicaragua) would like to thank all the local people who have donated their old mobiles and chargers for re-cycling. In January the Library in Plymouth Road, Tavistock had a collecting box in which over 60 mobiles were donated for re-cycling. Each re-cycled item raises £3 for the Fund. The mobiles are then repaired and updated ready for re-use. Tavistock Cycles, Paddons Row, Tavistock also has a collecting box. In this box, over 40 mobiles or chargers have been donated.
