A CONCERT band formed in January this year for beginner and intermediate young players is holding an evening of traditional and festive music.

The Moorland Concert Band has held a couple of events during the summer, and will be joined by guests ? Lady Modiford?s Primary School ? for the evening on Saturday, December 4 at 7pm at St Paul?s Church in Yelverton.

The event is being held in association with Tavistock Music Live ?Making Music Happen? and admission is free, although donations will be taken at the door. There will also be refreshments available.

The band is formed mainly of children aged seven years and up, although there are three adult members.
