CHILDREN stepped back in time at Sticklepath's Finch Foundry recently when they had a flavour of life as a Victorian industrial apprentice. Children aged between 7 and 10 wore Victorian clothes and undertook some of the good — and bad — tasks a new apprentice was faced with. Some of the youngsters are pictured here with Elizabeth Gilbert and Janet Coopey. Picture by James Bird
