THE Orchard Studios, Gunnislake recently produced their first major production entitled ?Life? at the Wharf, Tavistock.
A total of 110 students aged from five to 73 took part in what can best be described as a Variety Show!
Trapeze artists, acrobats, singers, dancers and actors wove together a unique, fast moving show which held the audience spell bound.
One of the dances from the show ? ?A Fishy Tale? ? has been chosen to be performed at the Theatre Royal next week as part of Dancers United 2003 programme.
The event, organised by the Barbican Theatre, Plymouth, will bring together some of the best dance in the West in a Gala performance.
Rehearsals were held last Saturday at the new TR2, which in itself was a tremendously exciting experience for the 12 young performers from the Orchard Studios.
The next performance of Life will be at Delaware School on July 5 followed by the Gunnislake festival on August 2.
