CAMPERS from the Jewish youth charity organisation Bnei Akiva turned up in Tavistock last week ? after a two-day trek from Black Torrington.

The youngsters, who hail from Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, London and Glasgow, are on their summer camp at Chipshop.

As part of the fortnight?s challenging activity programme campers were split into groups and dropped at Black Torrington before being left to find their way back to Chipshop.

Finding their way to the Times office were Nadia Taylor, Ben Josephs, Raizl Lindeman, Gidon Shirazi and Eitan Mirvis, who were all members of the London contingent.

Bnei Akiva regularly holds camps in the Tavistock area.

Nadia Taylor said: ?We are having a brilliant time, it?s pouring with rain but it makes such a difference from the city, we don?t really care!?
