They were part of the Devon team which beat off tough competition from Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire YFCs at a weekend of contests at Truro.
Among the many competitions were hockey, netball, five-aside football and ten pin bowling as well as an entertainments competition held at Truro's Hall for Cornwall.
Emma Hooper from Winkleigh was one of five members of the Devon side who won the senior after dinner speaking competition.
Another star from Devon will be heading to the YFCs national finals in Blackpool. Helen Blowey from Tavistock YFC won the senior ambassador of the year competition, which included an in-depth backstage interview then three on-stage questions under the spotlight.
YFCs in Devon provide their 1,400 members aged between 10 and 26 a unique opportunity to develop skills, work with their local community, travel abroad, take part in a varied competitions programme and enjoy a dynamic social life.
