IN the best fundraising tradition, sport held hands with charity in a special event at South Zeal recently, where young people threw themselves into helping others less fortunate than themselves.

South Zeal scouts held a 'kick for children with cancer' fundraising event to help raise money for CLIC Sargent, a charity for children and people affected by the disease. Some of the proceeds were also put towards their scout hut appeal.
