The second half continued in the same manner and with 25 minutes remaining Gunnislake went two in front. Mark Warwick played Dave Yorath through and when the latter?s cross was only cleared to the edge of the penalty area Warwick struck home. Bude pushed forward and a speculative free kick was not dealt with and the ball was bundled over the goal-line. With just five minutes remaining Bude equalised. Gunnislake were not to be denied the three points and with two minutes left Andy Wakem played in Dave Yorath who swept the ball home from just inside the penalty area. l Gunnislake are not in competitive action until Saturday January 7 when they travel to Lanreath in the league. Gunnislake have a testimonial match on December 27 for veteran player Mark Southcott. Mark celebrated his 40th birthday last June and still plays, having turned out for the club since his senior debut at 14. Mark?s cousin and current team manager Andy Southcott is arranging a Veterans? team that will play against some of the members of the current squad together with former team-mates of Mark who have not yet reached a veteran age.
