YELVERTON Golf Club veterans decided to play their competition over 15 holes on last week as the weather forecast for the afternoon was heavy rain.

They played a three ball with two scores to count. The winners were Graham Plumb, Bryan Blaber and David Kelly with 66 points closely followed be Mike Martin, Brian Lamb and Colin George with 65 points.

David Hanley, David Jeremiah, Roger Mechan and David Hitchcock were third with 64 points.

There were two 'twos' from Bryan Blaber and Ray Hutchins.
