MORRIS dancing fans are in for a treat at Tavistock?s Dickensian Evening tomorrow (Friday).
St Dominick outfit, Wreckers Morris, will perform their repertoire of dances from the Welsh borders at several different times and places around the town, starting from 7.30pm.
Wreckers bagman, Graham Leigh, said: ?It is an ideal event for us. The organisers have asked us to find our own locations so we will see where there is space, where people can see us and enjoy the dancing.?
When the group have finished dancing they will descend on Smiffy?s pub to show off their musical talents.
?With such a big band of musicians in Wreckers we have as much fun singing and making music as we do dancing,? said Graham.
Anyone impressed by the Band of Wreckers will be able to join them at the Rising Sun at Gunnislake on Tuesday December 31, as they see in the New Year.
?We will have many of our own musicians along on New Year?s Eve and all other musicians who want to come along and join us are welcome. It?s going to be a great way to see in 2003,? said Graham.
