STUDENTS from Tavistock College will take part in an inter-active workshop next week, designed to warn them about the dangers of alcohol.

The workshop follows a play called Time in a Bottle by PS Productions, about a character called Al Kohol.

The play looks at the character's downward spiral as a result of his growing dependency on alcohol and his ultimate regret he is unable to turn back time.

Paul Stevens of PS Productions said: 'For young people, any decision made now or when they are older has a consequence — be it good or bad.

'And when it comes to alcohol, young people must make informed decisions, free of peer pressure, misinformation and bravado.'

The play and workshop is partly funded by the Portman Group, a drinks industry initiative combating alcohol abuse. Time in a Bottle and the inter-active workshops take place with year 8 students on October 8 and 9.
