A SELECTION of lucky pupils at Okehampton Primary School had their artistic talents nurtured at a special workshop last Friday.

Sixty five children from the school entered a painting competition to take part in a 'Gifted and Talented — Images of Dartmoor' workshop, and their fellow pupils picked the best 18 pictures, with those 18 pupils taking part in the workshop.

Children worked with acrylic paints and canvas for the first time, painting landscapes and sights on Dartmoor using sophisticated tones and shades.
