REPRESENTATIVES from a range of organisations will be on hand to give advice at an event to mark the launch of this season's Work Club.

The Work Club is organised by The Rotary Club of Tavistock, Devon County Council and Devon Libraries to help unemployed people to get back into work.

Job Centre Plus, West Devon Borough Council, West Devon Community and Volunteering Services, Plough and Share Credit Union, Wheels2Work, Citizens' Advice Bureau, West Devon Homes and the Rotary Club will be among the organisations at the pre-launch event on Tuesday, September 18.

The free event will be held in Tavistock library foyer and the IT suite between 10am and 2pm, and is aimed to help job seekers improve their employment opportunities.

The regular Work Club will follow this event from 2pm to 4pm with advice on CV writing, interview techniques, online application advice, computer access and online tutorials.

The Work Club will be held every Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm until December.
