PEOPLE queued to get into the Oxfam shop in Okehampton to make donations to the tsunami appeal, said manager Jackie Theobald. Jackie, who is manager of the Oxfam shops in Okehampton and Tavistock, said: ?In just half a day we had raised enough for a water tank which would supply 175,000 people. We?ve had volunteers, and myself, with tears running down our faces at the generosity of everyone. ?People in Okehampton are always very loyal and very generous ? they are wonderful?. Mrs Theobald also paid tribute to her ?amazing? team of volunteers. ?At this time of year we usually have a skeleton staff, but people have been turning up, wanting to help their teams and to help these people ? they are wonderful,? she said.
