WITH a severely depleted squad, Bere still had the quality to stop Looe?s unbeaten run.
A shaky start saw Bere concede a controversial goal and for the rest of the first half two determined midfields cancelled each other out.
After half time Bere came out of the changing room with a more positive attitude and laid siege to the Looe goal.
With Dan O?Hare and Glen Anderson in midfield taking a firm grip it was not long before the equaliser came.
A well taken free kick from Alex Edwards found Steve Pratt in the penalty who powered home a class header.
With defence resilient the Looe strikers were kept at arms length and five minutes from time a stunning 25 yard wonder volley by O?Hare left the Looe keeper floundering and sealed a well deserved win for Bere.
