MEETINGS in Tavistock, Horrabridge, Buckland Monachorum and Yelverton are being held by the Lydia Fellowship International to encourage women ?to pray for our nations?.
Local member Joan Gosling said never was there more of a need. ?Our hearts and love go out to those who are suffering at the consequences of the war in Iraq,? she said.
They would be praying also ?for our families and the Church?s role within our nation?.
There is an open invitation to all women to attend the meetings. They will be held on Saturday, April 5 and June 7 from 10am to 12,30pm at Tavistock Methodist Church, Horrabridge Village Hall, Buckland Monachorum School Hall and Yelverton Parish Church.
