A YELVERTON woman is appealing for information, following a chance meeting at the funeral of her son in Buckland Monachorum recently. Mary Mott?s son John Trevena was buried at Buckland on February 4, following his sudden death in Gloucestershire ? he was only 42. Mary said many of John?s friends, some from out of the country, attended his funeral, but she would particularly like to get in contact with one of them who could not stay after the ceremony. She said: ?I know for definite he was called Trevor, and I think he was Trevor Martin. He left this piece of paper with the flowers, it said, ?John, the early years?, so he must have been at school with John in Ross on Wye, but he said he only lived six miles away from here.
