PHOENIX Youth Theatre will be sweeping away those winter blues with an entertaining and original performance this February.

'Oliver Goes Over the Rainbow' — an original play written by John Haley especially for the Phoenix Youth Theatre — combines the two wonderful classics: 'Oliver!' and 'The Wizard of Oz'.

Performances take place on February 4 and 5 in Bridestowe Village Hall, with the doors and bar opening at 7pm, and curtains up at 8pm.

Tickets are £4.50 for adults and £3.50 for under 12s, and can be purchased from the Riverside Stores in Bridestowe or from John Haley on 01837 861514.
