Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision between a car and lorry on the A30 on Tuesday, January 25.

The incident occurred in a layby on the westbound carriage between Stowford Cross and Liftondown at 6.15pm when a silver Ford Focus and parked lorry collided.

The car driver, a 50-year-old man from Okehampton, was pronounced dead at the scene, though the lorry driver remained uninjured.
