A WINDOW was smashed at Dartmoor Pantry in Fore Street, Okehampton, last Friday night and police are appealing for witnesses. The offence occurred between 8pm and midnight. Anyone with information should contact PC Nigel Fidock at Okehampton Police Station on 08705 777444.
l Police have received several complaints about drivers failing to comply with stop signs in North Tawton. The location of the trouble is where Market Street and North Street terminate in the Square. PC Ken Dine said before long there would be an accident if people failed to abide by the signs — this had been a problem for some time.
