'WONDERWORKS' is the inspiration of a group of highly talented and professional artists and craftspeople who have connections with Chagford on Dartmoor.

As the name implies, Wonderworks will be showing a wide range of paintings, prints and crafts from ceramics, jewellery and glass to printed textiles, feltwork and sculpture.

It continues the momentum that started with the very successful Chagford Festival Exhibitions Trail in 2001 and the Nine Days of Art the following year.

The Craft Fair will take place this Saturday and Sunday at the Jubilee Hall in Chagford where there will be plenty to see, admire and buy.

Mill Street will be the focus for the painting exhibitions which will remain open from November 8-15.

Two artists' studios will be open and more pictures will be exhibited in Helpful Holidays and the well-known restaurant at 22 Mill Street.

All the exhibition settings will be open between 10am and 5pm each day with the Craft Fair remaining open until 9pm on Saturday November 8.

Mulled wine will be served during that evening and there will be refreshments available at the Jubilee Hall throughout the Craft Fair.
