THE Devon Sensory Bus, a specially equipped bus that offers free, confidential service to those with hearing or visual impairment has released its 2011 timetable for the second half of the year.

The service provides trained staff who understand the effects of hearing and sight loss, and can offer support and advice, as well as demonstrate the use of a range of equipment to help with everyday difficulties such as hearing the doorbell or telephone, or reading newspapers and books.

The bus will visit Chagford on the third Tuesday of each month, and North Tawton and Okehampton on the third Thursday of each month.

The timetable for July is as follows:

July 19 — Chagford Town Square, 10.30am-1.30pm.

July 21 — North Tawton Town Hall, 10.30am-noon.

July 21 — Okehampton, Fairplace Church, 12.30pm-3pm.
