CHAGFORD'S thespians have gone for an unusual choice this year and are performing the pantomime 'Rumpelstiltskin' from February 22 to 26.
Written and directed by Mary Morton, there will be a cast of around 60 people which will include children from the local school.
Business manager Chas Mee said someone came up with the idea of staging 'Rumpelstiltskin' and this was chosen because no-one had seen it performed before.
The cast, who obviously like a challenge, are now in rehearsal and will be performing to the public in Chagford's Jubilee Hall at 7.30pm on each of the five nights.
Tickets available from Chagford Pharmacy.
