Organisers of the Dartmoor Challenge Charity walk will welcome all along to this year's walks, which take place on Saturday September 3.
The charity effort is to raise funds for two charities, 'Holiday for heroes Jersey' and the 'Barchester Foundation'.
The day will consist of walks ranging from seven to 15 miles. There will also be a specialised walk for local residents of Barchester Healthcare care homes who have physical and complex needs.
Members of the public are welcomed to come and support or join in the walks, the walks, which will start from the Prince of Wales car park in Princetown.?Registration starts from 9.15am.
The event last year touched hearts and minds with what could be achieved, both for the many who walked and for the group of younger people who have complex physical needs.
The response following the walk was overwhelming, and prompted organisers to make it an annual event.
They are also delighted that one of the younger residents with complex physical needs has been officially invited to open the newly built bunkhouse at the Prince of Wales, which has one room fully equipped for individuals with special physical needs.
More than 100 walkers participated last year and organisers are aiming to achieve this again this year.
They expressed thanks to the many sponsors of this year's walk who are listed on http://www.dartmoorchallengewalk.co.uk">www.dartmoorchallengewalk.co.uk
