TAVISTOCK Air Cadets made their annual presentations at Crelake Cadet Centre recently.

Parents, friends and guests saw a drill display and a leadership exercise before enjoying refreshments.

There was an opportunity to see displays of all the cadet activities and achievements over the last 12 months.

The squadron's new IT facilities were on display together with the latest electrical projects.

A drum display by the squadron's drum corps was organised by Cdt Sgt Matt Boyle.

The cadets were inspected by Kevin Smith, chairman of the squadron welfare committee and Sqn Ldr Phil Newcombe, the regional Duke of Edinburgh Award officer for the South West Air Cadets.

Phil went on to present cadets Brown, Carpenter, Kirkman, Pritchard and Waddy with bronze DofE certificates.

The squadron expressed thanks to all the parents who helped with the refreshments. The home-made cakes were of a high standard, enjoyed by all present.
