I WAS interested to read your article about the possible re-opening of the Old Folks' Rest Room in the town centre.

My friend was wondering, when I mentioned this to her, whether there might be facilities to provide a cheap meal for the old folks, such as sausage and mash or possibly stew, or maybe a salad, as well as tea, coffee and sandwiches, for those who might not be able to have a hot meal during the day.

I know that TASS do have a luncheon club, but this is not on a daily basis.

I'm sure that if this could be taken into consideration, it would be very much appreciated, especially by the very elderly among us.
