A CELLIWIC Revival Exhibition focussing on the rich talents of local artists and craftspeople opens at the Wharf in Tavistock on Sunday, May 25.
The Celliwic group was located for 20 years in the Celliwic Art and Craft Centre in Callington where all the profits were donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust. The centre ? which accommodated two studio art galleries, two potteries, a stained glass workshop, a shop area and a plant nursery ? was run by Hilda Blake Rich with a group of other volunteers.
Now working from home and still fundraising for CF, Hilda is delighted that the Wharf has agreed to stage this exhibition. The exhibition runs until June 13.
