I WISH to congratulate the organiser of the Abbots Way Walk on Sunday, Tavistock and District Youth Forum, for organising a well planned safe walk which was enjoyed by over 300 people.
On reflection, enjoyed is a strange word after walking for nine hours when it had rained for eight hours, but I will be back in 2002 as it was an achievement.
The assistance provided by the Dartmoor Rescue Group, the Dartmoor Radio Club and the Red Cross always ensured that the organiser could run a good event.
