YELVERTON Bohemians Cricket Club hosted an Under 10s District Cricket Festival at Langton Park recently.

Representative teams from East, North and South Devon travelled across Devon to compete in 20 overs per innings matches with the batters batting in pairs (for four overs) and all fielders having to bowl at least one over.

The team from the West were drawn against South Devon in the first match and came out winners by 71 runs bowling only 5 wides and having been dismissed just three times in their 20 overs.

In the final the West faced North Devon and this time won by 42 runs, bowling just three wides and again loosing just three wickets,  the West Under 10s became West Festival Champions for the second year running. Many congratulations to the boys that participated and played so well.
