IN front of a large crowd of supporters from both sides Okehampton kicked off, and both sides put everything into the game until the final whistle. Tavistock were unlucky not to score early on with Charlie narrowly missing a try under the posts, but made up for it soon after when Braidy carried the ball forward from a Tavistock scrum and Charlie opened the scoring. The pressure on Okehampton never let up, and Braidy slipped in for a second try after great support play by Morgan, effortlessly converted.
Tavistock rucked and tackled exceptionally well, and ended the first half 17 points up.
Oke piled on the pressure in the second half, but fierce defending from Tavistock kept their score down to two tries, one from a penalty and one after slogging it out close to the Tavistock try line. Great runs by Braidy and Tom up the touchline, and accurate kicking by Harry kept much of the play in the Oke half, and Tavistock scored three more tries, taking them to a convincing victory.
This was the best display this season from Tavistock which is growing in confidence with each match they play.

OKEHAMPTON continued their unbeaten ruin with a hard fought victory over local rivals Tavistock.
The first half was an even affair as both sides scored one try apiece to leave the score at 7-7 at the interval. Oke took the lead after Ethan Hoggins, who had a superb match, bulldozed his way through the Tavy defence, Corey Holliday converted. Tavistock levelled after some weak Oke backs' defence to tie things up at the break.
In the second period, Okes' scrummage dominance began to take its toll. Greg Daniel was in irrepressible form and he scored a try hat-trick after some outstanding individual efforts. Corey Holliday also sniped over for a score from scrum half and the whole side began to play with a growing confidence. Conversions for Oke were added by Leon Horne (2), Jack Ogbourne and Corey Holliday to complete the home sides' scoring. Tavistock won a consolation try just before the final whistle that their willingness to throw the ball about deserved.

TAVISTOCK took an early lead with a try from Brynmor. Oke struck back but Jude White threaded his way through the pack to get a second try for Tavistock. Oke scored two quick tries but each side was rucking and mauling well and the scores were level at half time after another try for Tavistock from Lochlan Fulton.
The second half saw Okehampton's strength in the scrum shine through as they kept more possession and drove for the line. Tavistock did show great tackling work from Tom, Archie Allen and Joe with support in the line from Olly, Jacob and George. Jude White was the Tavistock man of the match.

THE second game showed a reverse of fortune for Tavistock with the team digging deep. Morgan and Theo both played well, strong rucking from Luke and Zac and a great run from Morgan Turnock gave the team the lift they needed. Jude, Lochlan and George got the points but it was a very tight game. .

OKEHAMPTON started slowly and lost the first quarter 7-5, with Oliver scoring three tries and Jay and Tom, one each. The second quarter went much the same way as the first, with Tavistock winning 5-4. Tom scored two and Jay and Dillon scored the remainder. The Okes really hit their stride in the third quarter, out scoring Tavistock 7-3 tries from Jay (2) Oliver (2) Tom, Dillon and Jacob.
Going into the final quarter the Okes were ahead with 16-15 and looking like they were holding onto the lead but were pipped 7-4 to leave it a 22-20 overall score in Tavistock's favour.
Ed, Oliver and Lewis scored in the last quarter. Oliver was man of the match and won the team squirrel, after running in a total of seven tries.

THE first half was closely fought with both sides showing great support and good tagging. Oke were led by Holly who showed great skills and led from the front with scores by Jacob (4) Joe (4) and Lachlan (1). The wide pitch suited Oke's fast wingers who made full use of the width to their advantage with superb support play from Ethan, Adam and William.
The second half was more in Oke's favour with the Tavistock side tiring the visitors and applied more pressure and took advantage by outscoring Tavistock by 5-2 tries.

THIS was a much more open game with the Okehampton side able to run freely through the Tavistock defence. Tries were scored by Marcus (3) Indie (3) Aidan (3) and 1 each for Isaac, Lachlan, William and Alex . The side was led by Finley who showed his leadership skills while Milo and Cameron for Okes showed great touches in defence and attack .
