I?VE no idea what sort of training the cadets from Alpha Company South West Area receive, but surely they should know the correct way to fly the national flag. As shown in the Times (May 31, page 11) it is upside down. Flying a national flag this way is a signal of distress. The article goes on to say ?Their training follows that of the Royal Marines?. It may be supposed to, but clearly it doesn?t.
