THERE was a variety of imaginative games and activities to keep visitors of Tavistock Primary School's annual summer fair entertained.
Organised by the Home School Association, the fair boasted plant and cake stalls, face painting, bouncy castle and a nail bar as well as various competitions such as Disney fancy dress and a cake-making competition.
All the children from year six devised and ran their own imaginative stalls and games such as a goal shoot out, soaking teachers in stocks, Welly Wanging and a 'Granny's Knickers' game, challenging people to see how many knickers they could get on their head in an allotted time.
Head teacher Lynnette Selbie said:?'It was a stunning evening and the field was absolutely full with people. It was a brilliant turnout and we raised lots of money for school funds.'
Some of the funds raised will be used to buy some new play equipment for the key stage two children.
