A TODDLER who was diagnosed with arthritis just before her second birthday completed a charity walk for Dr Barnados in Tavistock last week.

Miya Waters-Baker, who was two in June, spent the day at Bristol Children's Hospital, having treatment two days before the walk in the Meadows so all her family were very proud of her.

Miya, who lives in Tavistock, went through six months of pain before being diagnosed with arthritis in her knee, two fingers and wrist.

Since then she has been having steroid injections, which have made a big difference to her life.
