A MALE voice choir is making a return to Tavistock after a three-year absence.
Tavistock Rotary Club has invited the Hart Male Voice Choir from Hampshire to perform in the parish church on Saturday, November 17. Apart from their appearance at The Wharf three years ago, the choir's musical director was instrumental in arranging the Yanomamo concert at Tavistock College eighteen months ago.
The programme in November will include religious and secular songs, love songs and pieces from musicals.
Tickets will cost £5 and will be available on the door or from Edwin Clark, 9 Plymouth Road, Tavistock — 612464 — or from Lake Pharmacy or F&M Lawrence Cookshop. The concert starts at 7.30pm and proceeds are for local Rotary charities.
