Tavistock Hockey Club played their second league match against Penzance and were pleased to have the first competitive win of the season under their belts. The game ran smoothly and there were frequent substitutions to compensate for the hard work put on while the players were on the pitch.

Tavistock scored with an early goal by Luke Daniels but any realisation of an easy win was soon put to bed with an equalizer soon after.

The home side then went a goal down but Tavistock players fought back to equalise through Jake.

After half time the strong opposing team took the lead again. As the second half progressed Tavistock looked the better team and scored two more great goals in the dying moments of the game.

The equalizing goal was a blinding second goal from Luke Daniels. The winning goal was a well worked team goal with great play from Simon to give Josh Weber the chance to put it away.
