Unfortunately the start to the second part of the season has not gone well so far in the Okehampton Netball League due to the very bad weather, which meant four matches were called off after 20 minutes of play. Falcons had a convincing win against Hatherleigh, 70-18, although Hatherleigh kept fighting all the way. Players of match: Tracie Martin (Falcons), Janet Chapman (Hatherleigh). The second match was played between two well matched teams, Magpies and Quicksilver. Throughout the game each team knew that there was no room for error or taking a breather at any point. The majority of the match saw the sides either drawing or having one or two goals either way. Both teams played very well and found it an enjoyable challenge, if somewhat tiring by the end. The match resulted in a win for Magpies by 48-42. Pom: Tina Friend (Magpies) Sue Farrell (Quicksilver).
