WHITCHURCH Wayfarers are getting ready for another season.
Six pre-season senior nets have been booked for February 13 and 27; March 13 and 27; April 3 and 10 at Tavistock College. All are welcome to attend what should be intensive sessions with qualified and specialist coaching available.
On the edge of Tavistock Whitchurch Wayfarers play at one of the most attractive grounds in Devon. Two Devon league sides play on Saturday; the newly promoted second XI looking to consolidate on their success of 2010.
There is a ladies team which plays in the Devon Ladies League on Sundays. They were one of the founding members of the Ladies' Devon League – new members welcomed.
For Sundays and mid-week there is a friendly side catering for all abilities and hosting many visiting teams – several with a very long history of fixtures.
Tuesday evening sees two teams participate in the Tamar Evening League while 2010 saw considerable success in the knockout tournament.
For the colts there are three enthusiastic and successful teams for the U11, U13 and U15 age groups.
