WEIR Quay Sailing Club has been holding the sixth and last race of its summer series.
On a bright and sunny Sunday morning, the light and variable winds filled in from the north as the race continued on the River Tamar.
John Tomlinson in his Wayfarer got away from the rest of the fleet with close passing between Alan Seward, Bob Townsend and Tony Newman, giving enjoyable racing down the fleet over the slow three-lap course with the winner completing in 90 minutes.
Results: 1. John Tomlinson, Wayfarer; 2, Tony Newman, Mirror; 3, Alan Seward.
