A CAR wash held by Okehampton Fire Brigade recently in aid of the New York Firefighters' Appeal raised £500.
Station officer Ian Donovan has expressed thanks to everyone who took part.
'I am not sure how many we did but there are certainly a lot of clean cars driving around Okehampton,' he said.
