VISITORS?can see spring in full bloom at Cotehele with the annual Great Daffodil Walk in aid of cancer nursing services.

The event will see supporters walking around the grounds of the National Trust's Cotehele Estate on Sunday April 15 to raise money for Marie Curie Nursing Services.

Volunteer Drew Potter said: 'The Cotehele Estate, originally the home of the Edgecumbe family, is one of the least altered medieval houses in the country.

'This estate is a truly magnificent sight to see as it comprises 24-acre terraced gardens which bloom with rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias and much more in the spring.'

The registration fee for the walk is £10 for adults and £5 for children, which includes free admission into the Cotehele Estate after the walk. Walkers have to raise sponsorship money for the charity.

Dogs are welcome on the walk, providing they are on leads.
