FORTY events are happening between October 22 and 30 as part of the Tamar Trails Festival so there's plenty of half-term fun for everyone.
There will be walks, talks and workshops, mountain biking, shadow puppets, a haunted dinner and night vision adventures.
Many events are free and others request a small fee or donation.
The fun starts at 10am on Saturday, October 22 with an apple juicing day in Sydenham Damerel. There are several different activities to choose from each day, culminating with Discovery Trail Week of Walks No. 7 on Sunday, October 30.
Autumn is said to be the perfect time to explore the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (TVAONB) so grab your woollies and go along and join in all the fun.
You can learn how to forage for food and medicinal plants in the wild, walk from Tamerton Foliot to Lifton along the Discovery Trail, make and perform the Legend of Tamara in a shadow puppets workshop, explore the arsenic workings at Devon Great Consols with archaeologist Colin Buck, create an autumn sculpture using modelling clay, conkers, seeds, leaves and acorn cups, help plant a community orchard or hone your mountain biking skills with professional mountain bikers and elite riders.
