IT'S time to get your walking boots on, get out in the sunshine and join Calstock Footpath Society this Saturday on a walk to Morwellham.

The new Tamar Trails, opened last year, provide an interesting woodland route to the once busy port of Morwellham, with the walk returning to the start point following the River Tamar.

The walk will begin at the Tamar Trails car park, next to Bedford Sawmills, east of Gunnislake.

Taking place this Saturday, the walk will start at 11am. A machine operated parking fee of £2 is usually requested and non-members of the society are asked to donate £2.

The walk is approximately six miles and there are some gradients. Bring a packed lunch and strong shoes or boots. The walk is unsuitable for dogs.
