Dartmoor National Park Authority has arranged a walk to explore the now derelict gunpowder factory at Powdermills, near Postbridge.

Despite the passing of a century, many of the abandoned buildings can be seen, ranging from the water-driven mills to the mortar gun which tested the gunpowder.

All will be revealed by a NPA guide on this walk from Higher Cherrybrook Bridge Car Park, midway between Postbridge and Two Bridges on Friday, August 12 at 2pm.
