TAVISTOCK Walk and Talk is celebrating its second birthday with a special walk on Tuesday September 8.

The walk is open to everyone and is absolutely free.

There will be plenty of walk leaders available on the day to allow for the different pace and distance of walk that the Tavistock group has become so good at offering.

All walkers are being asked to meet at the Wharf at the usual time of 10.30am.

Kate Wright, Walk and Talk co-ordinator for West Devon Borough Council, said: 'The aim of our celebration walk is to get all the walkers, volunteers and organisations who have been involved with Tavistock Walk and Talk over the last two years, to get together and celebrate the success it has become.

'We will all start and end the walk together, finishing back at the Wharf for cake and a cuppa!'

Walk and Talk welcomes new walkers throughout the year.
