PASSIONATE walkers young and old are invited to take part in the Great Daffodil Walk at Cotehele in aid of the Cornwall Nursing Appeal for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The Great Daffodil Walk will see like-minded supporters walking around the grounds of the National Trust's Cotehele Estate.

Marie Curie cares for around 25,000 people every year, who all have families that also need support. Its services are free to patients and families, and aims to help as many people as possible stay in their own homes when they reach the end of their lives. Around 70% of the charity's income is from fundraising.

The walk will take place on Sunday, April 11 and anyone wishing to take part is asked to raise sponsorship money in aid of the appeal. There will be a registration fee for the walk of £10 for adults and £5 for children, which includes a free t-shirt and free admission into the Cotehele Estate after the walk.

To request an entry form or for more information, call the fundraising office on 01872 260500.
